Event management is learned by doing. That is why every ESINEV programme is built around practical work: case studies based on real events, planning exercises and a final project in which you design and plan an event from start to finish.

Gaining experience while you study

• Final project: a complete event plan – concept, budget, suppliers, timeline, risk assessment and evaluation – that you can show to employers or clients.
• Volunteering and freelance work: many students gain experience by volunteering at festivals, conferences or charity events, or by supporting local planners.
• Portfolio and CV: we give you guidance on presenting your projects and skills to employers in Ireland.

About placements

ESINEV does not guarantee internships or job placements. If you find a placement with a company, we can provide a letter confirming that you are enrolled on your programme.
